This is a really dynamic, futuristic soft PVC lampshade.

This lampshade casts a beautiful soft ambient glow, and projects light downwards through the aperture. Is perfect in any clean modern living or dining room, or as an off-beat in a more classic space.

It is really nice in multiples, all hanging at the same height, in restaurants, or for office meeting tables, or even kids rooms.

These are made in batches. Please allow 3-4 weeks for production.

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?

Two discs of PVC are ultrasonically welded over a rigid metal ring. As the shapes are then pulled back apart the form is made.

IS IT STRONG?

This is structurally robust, it needs to be as the forces that stretch it into shape are quite high.

It is however made of elastic PVC. People are always amazed that its 'squidgy'! (like you can see in the bottom thumbnail picture)

It should be treated as something special and fragile.

WHAT ARE ITS SAFETY CREDENTIALS?

This lamp shade is made with the guidance of the British Lighting Association and adheres to their best practice guidelines.

HOW IS IT PACKAGED?

The UFO Lampshade comes individually boxed in a triple walled super strong cardboard box. It has internal cellular foam dampers in the box to guarantee it arrives in one piece.

HOW DO I HANG IT?

This lampshade easily fits over any standard lamp-holder. No electrician is required.

WHAT TYPE OF LIGHTBULB DOES IT USE?

This lampshade must only be used with a compact fluorescent bulb.
